Beechwood Country Club — Let’s Kick This Off Right
Beechwood has been a golf landmark for generations, opening as a nine-hole course in 1948 and expanding to a full 18 by 1975. Today it delivers a classic test that rewards smart strategy and solid ball striking—exactly what you want for a strong first stop of the season.
Golf Course Highlights:
- 18-hole layout with a mix of scoring chances and “hold on tight” holes.
- Yardage options that fit the field: 6,513 yards from the back (blue) tees and 5,605 yards from the senior tees.
- Four par-5s, including a longest par-5 stretching to 553 yards.
- Upgrades and refinements over time, including hole redesign work and an added driving range.
- Par-3 course designed by Andrew Green (9 holes ranging roughly 60–130 yards)—great for sharpening wedges and confidence.
- Championship pedigree: Beechwood hosts Carolina Golf Association events, qualifiers, and collegiate tournaments.
Bottom line: This is a perfect venue to set the tone for 2026—play hard, compete fair, and enjoy being part of something that’s building momentum.
