Tournament Recap
Kiln Creek Delivers

The Virginia Senior Amateur Tour welcomed 59 players to Kiln Creek Golf Club on Wednesday, July 29, for one of the strongest and most memorable events of the season.

The leaderboard featured outstanding golf from top to bottom, including the only under-par round of the day, tightly contested finishes across several flights and a total prize purse of $1,230.

Great course conditions, strong competition and exceptional hospitality combined to make Kiln Creek a tournament our players will not soon forget.

Congratulations to all five Kiln Creek flight champions!

Hospitality Above and Beyond
A Special Thank You to Owen Blackshear

Great tournaments are remembered for more than the final scores. They are remembered for the way players are welcomed and treated by the host facility.

Kiln Creek Club Professional Owen Blackshear went above and beyond for the Virginia Senior Amateur Tour. In an incredibly generous gesture, Owen and Kiln Creek provided every player in the field with a coupon for a complimentary round of golf.

That kind of generosity says everything about Owen and the entire Kiln Creek team.

Owen, thank you for your professionalism, generosity and first-class hospitality. Kiln Creek was a fantastic host to the Virginia Senior Amateur Tour, and our membership truly appreciates everything you did to make the day so special.
