TOURNAMENT RESULTS by TOM KUBLA (KEITH HILLS SERIES EVENT #1 FEB 26, 2026)

In the Champ flight, the Eastern Tour dominated the top of the leaderboard taking the first three positions. Brian Hollandsworth captured the top spot with a four over par round of 76 winning by a single shot. Outstanding golf Brian!  ENC Randy Townsend was runner up with a nice round of 77, while Stan Adams from ENC placed third shooting 78. Fourth position was a T4 as Kevin McDougald and Dean Parziale recorded matching rounds of 79.

The winner of the A flight could not be determined in a mere eighteen holes of regulation golf as Bo Crooks and Mark Harper turned in identical scores of 77 forcing an on course sudden victory playoff. Bo finished the playoff with a par on the first hole that Mark was unable to cover. Awesome golf Bo!  Third place was a T3 as Matt Wiley from the Michigan Tour and John East matched a pair of 80’s. Fifth was a T5 with Ken Gray and Allen Wilson, both from the ENC Tour shooting 82’s. Sharing seventh place Jay Yergeau, and Richard Johnson from ENC matched 83’s.

It was a battle all day to win a flight and B flight was no exception. Shawn Cacioppo managed to pull out his single shot victory by posting a score of 82. Great golf Shawn! ENC Hal Moore claimed runner up honors by carding 83, while ENC Owen Cuddington and David Sigers finished the day T4 with a couple of 84’s. Joe Ferguson rounded out the top five posting 85, as Dave Turner grabbed sixth place with a round of 86. Tied for seventh this week, each with 89, was Lyman Howard from the ENC Tour and Mike Wolstenholme.

In the C flight, Mike Groom carded 88 to hold back the competition to win by two. That gave Mike early season back to back victories. Well played Mike! James Adamski snagged the runner up slot with his round of 90, while ENC Davie Smith racked up third place by shooting 91. Fourth place was collected by Dallas Shackleford with a round of 93. It took no less than four players to close out the top five position. The four players at T5 are Thomas Bullock, Dan Henris, Steve High, and Joe Porter. All shot 94, and all four are from the Eastern NC Tour!

The D flight required another on course sudden victory playoff as Adam Grayson, Rat Williams, and Tour Director Sola Smith all turned in scores of 92 to the scoring table. The playoff started on hole one, but did not finish there. All three players tied and moved on to the second hole where Adam Grayson managed a par that neither Rat nor Sola could match. Congrats Adam!  Kelly Brown stood alone in fourth place with a score of 97, while P Martinez garnered a top five finish carding 98. Sixth place was a three way tie as Michael Kessler, and James Moore and Donnie Pierce both from the Eastern NC Tour, recorded rounds of 101.
