What a hot day it was at Old Capital on Thursday. What a fun course to play with great course conditions, which brought out some real nice scores, and a couple of first time winners. Congratulations to our flight winners. Winning his 3rd tournament this year making it back to back in the Champ flight was Gary EuDaly at 2 over par 74, following 4 strokes back by Tommy Jones-78. Getting his first win of the year in the A-flight was Bill Sutton with a nice score of 76, 2 strokes back was Randy Leonard-78. Also winning his first tournament by sudden death playoff was Ken Ackerman-79, over Bob Enoch-79. Another 3 time winner in the C-flight was our birthday boy Jim Will, Sr-86, (several strokes above his age),and 2 strokes back was Vince Frey-88.
