Championship Flight:

John Walters shot an impressive round of 69 on Monday to win by only one shot Monday at The Peninsula CC.  Gary Bell who recently moved up from A flight has his game on track now as he also shot under par Monday with 70.  Anthony White also posted a red number at 71 followed by 3 74’s.  Bill Phillips grabbed 4^th place money over Phil Seaman and Jerry Sennett who’s round included a eagle 2 at the par 4 fifth hole.  Monday was also the US Senior Amateur qualifier and I happy to say 2 of our Charlotte players qualified with Mark Wagner medalist at 68 and Brad Kroll getting in at 69.  Also Jim Gallagher from our Piedmont VA tour got in with 69.  Congrats to all and good luck in the tournament.

A Flight:

Chris Cross wins for the 2^nd week in a row with an even par round of 72.  Right after the tourney Cross asked to be moved to the Champ flight as he now knows he his game is ready to compete.  Mark welt finished in second on his home track with 73 and Scott Ide beat out Chris Murray on the card for third place.  Both players posted  75’s.

B Flight:

Bill Barnett won by 2 shots firing a 79 on Monday followed by three scores at 81.  Nolan Elenz to second on the card playoff followed by Jim Smith and Stu Timku.

C Flight:

A four way playoff decided the winner on Monday and for back to back weeks Darrel Wilson was victorious on the card.  Wilson fired 87 just like Lloyd Morris who was second followed by Mark Denton and Larry Hinson.
