Hills has been changed to Carolina Lakes in Sun City. River Hills double booked this date so I will reschedule this
course later in the year also will be better since they have new Champion
Bermuda greens which are a bit firm right now.

Championship Flight:
Dennis McCormac wins
for the first time on the Senior tee as scores were high on a tough day at The
Palisades. McCormac won with 80 followed
by John Walters and Mike Gentry at 81.
Two players tied at 82 with Bill Phillips beating out Gary Schatz on the
card.
A Flight:
Mark Welt playing in
his first event of the season came out firing and shot the low round of the day
for the victory at 76. Chris Cross also
played well and finished second at 78 followed by Len McAlister & Paul Gargano
at 81.
B Flight:
Bill Barnett not only
won with 81 but also got both closest to the pins on the front side on
Wednesday. Jimmy Reynolds had his best finish
of the season at 84 followed by Rona Ballew at 85 and Ron LaMorte with 86.
C Flight:
Jim Hestikind & Bill Sturgeon both finished at 94 with
Hestikind grabbing first place money on the card. Dennis McConaughay cashed in third with 97
beating out Jerry Hoogeveen on the card playoff.
