Championship Flight:
Bill Hall continues his great play this season on the Senior Tour as he won again by only one shot firing a one under par round of 71. Mark Saari looked like he was going to walk away with first place yesterday as he started 6 under par in his first twelve holes. Saari went 6 over from 12-15 to derail his victory and possibly setting the lowest score ever on tour which is 65 by John Walters. Mark did finish in second place with an even par round of 72. Dennis McCormac cashed for the first time this season with a three over par 75 followed by Phil Seaman in 4th with 76.
A Flight:
Tim Romeo won by three shots yesterday firing a smooth one over par round of 73. Scott Ide grabbed second place with 76 and David Frye continues to get his game in shape and finished solo third with 77. Malcolm Phillips rounded out the top four with another good round of 78.
B Flight:
Howard Rohrer had the round of his life yesterday as he posted an even par score of 72. The round also promoted Howard to the A flight for any upcoming events, congrats to Howard on his best ever round on tour. Gary Kochman shoot 78 and finished in second place followed by host of 79’s. Bob Deaton finished third on the card and Stu Timku fourth; Bill Maryman and Stan Wetmore did not cash but got 4th place points in the card playoff.
C Flight:
Van Storie won by 4 shots Tuesday as he fired a smooth 84 for another victory. Sindo Mayor won on the card for second place beating out Larry Hinson as both players posted 88’s. Dick Michal cashed for the first time this season beating out Bill Holland on the card playoff. Both Michal and Holland shot 89’s on the day.
