B & C Flight (Club or Gold Tees) 6100 yds.

Note:  The next event at Cabarrus on June 27th has been rescheduled to a 2 day major in September due to a conflict with me.  I’ll be out of town a couple days that week.

Championship Flight:

Dan Hendrickson won for the first time ever on the senior Tour with an impressive 2 under par round of 70, which included five birdies on the day.  Last weeks winner Bill Hall finished in second place just one shot back with 71.  John Walters steady as ever finished in third with 72 and Ted Cox grabbed 4^th place money with 73.

A Flight:

Billy Poteat and Griggy Porter both fired 77’s on Tuesday but it was Poteat gaining the victory on the score card playoff.  Scott Ide finished 3 shots back with 80 and Ron Burnier beat out Bill Beal on the card for 4^th place with 81.

B Flight:

Bob Deaton also won for the first time on tour but had to do it in a playoff.  Deaton, Lloyd Morris and Stu Timku all fired 79’s but Deaton grabbed first and Morris second place on the card.  Doug Tyler and Sam Carpenter also tied with 81’s and Tyler grabbed 4^th on the tie breaker.

C Flight:

Bill Holland played great all day en route to the four shot victory with an impressive 84.  Van Storie captured second place with 88 and Bill Sturgeon beat out Dick Michal on the card for third place money.  Both Sturgeon and Michal fired 89’s.
