Bill Hall and Mark Saari battled all day Wednesday at Carolina Lakes.  Hall turned the front in 37 and Saari 36, then on the back Hall posted 34 and Saari 35 to both fire one under par rounds of 71.  Then as always we went to the card playoff and Bill Hall won on the fifth hole with a birdie.  Gary Parks started slow with double bogie, bogie start but then went on a birdie terror with 6 and finished just one over par 73 for third place. A log jam of players came in tied at 74 but it was Phil Seaman beating out Watterworth, Cox and Schatz on the card fourth place money.

A Flight:

George Shadwick came up from Pinehurst again this week and finished number one with a great round of 76.  Paul Gargano continues to play well and carded a 79 good enough for second place cash.  Mark Gregory grabbed 3^rd with 80 and Mac Ellerbe squeaked out 4^th place at 81.

B Flight:

Ray Killian had his round of the year on tour matching Parks birdie barrage with 6 on route to a 74 and a first place finish.  The score now moves Killian to A flight for the rest of the season with a 7 handicap congrats to Ray.  Nolan Elenz also posted his best score ever on tour as he managed to grab second place with 75.  Brian Harle and Stan Wetmore tied with 78 and Harle got third outright on the card.

C Flight:

John Patterson and Sindo Mayor also stood ties after 18 holes with each player posting 84.  Patterson however grabbed first place money and points on the card playoff.  Local member Bill LoVine fired 87 for third place and Ray Jennings got 4^th with 88.
