John Walters once again continues his strong play this season as he won by a two shot margin with 70.  Walters 2 under par round was spurred on by his great 3under par back nine score which included birdies at 17 & 18.  Bill Hall also continues to play well as he fired an ever par 72 to grab second place money.  Tom Carbone had his best finish of the year with a third place score of 75 beating out David Watterworth on the card.

Paul Gargano also played well on the back nine shooting an even par 36 en-route to a 77 and a first place victory by only one shot.  Steve MacIssac was second with 78 and also received a promotion to Champ flight as his index dropped to 2.4.  Pinehurst’s George Shadwick and newcomer Chris Murray both fired 79’s but it was Shadwick taking third on the card playoff.

Fort the first time that I can remember we had a five way tie for first in the B flight on Tuesday.  Ron Ballew won for the first time by birding the number one handicap hole then Pat Dolan was second, Bill Maryman third and Chris Black fourth.  All these players fired 89’s on the day and Steve Romito was the fifth place 80.

Jim Wittersheim’ got the repeat with the same score he shot last year to win 87.  Mike Bouchon & Bill Sturgeon both shot 89’s but Bouchon grabbed second place money on the card.  Van Storie rounded out the top four places with 90.
