Championship Flight:

Jerry Sennett posted the low round of the season a 3 under par 69.  Jerry’s great round included 5 birdies on the day and also pushed him ahead of Ted Cox for the 2012 points lead.  In second place was John Walters at 73 but if he would have had his putter working might have given Sennett a scare.  Brad Kroll fired 74 for third place and Greg Powell nipped out Ted Cox on the card for fourth place money.  Both Powell and Cox fired 76’s.

A Flight:

John Allessio won for the first time ever on tour and needed his great round of 74 to win by only one shot.  Tour veteran Cletis Dozier started his season out in fine fashion posting a second place finish with 75.  Steve Romito grabbed third with 78 and Rick Strong 4th at 79.

B Flight:

Steve Williams and Stan Wetmore ended up tied at 78 on Wednesday.  Once again Wetmore went down on the card which has to be about three scorecard losses on the card for Stan.  He will be looking for his first victory at The Palisades in a couple of weeks.  Third place was also tied at 79 as newcomer Keith Davis grabbed third over Bill Maryman.  Maryman’s fourth place finish came about after a triple bogie on his last hole of the day.

C Flight:

Bill LoVine won for the first time this season but repeated at Edgewater as he also won here last year.  Lovine fired 83 for the victory followed in second by Mike Walczack and Wayne Shirley third both with 84’s.  Van Storie rounded out the top five spots with 85.
