Championship Flight:

Mark Wagner kicked of his season in fine fashion as he fired a 3 under par round of 68 at CC of Salisbury.  Wagner turned at 33; then birdied 14 & 15 to go to five under, but doubled 16th his only hic-up of the day.  Robert Surratt, Jeff Rausch and Mike Purkey all finished 6 shots behind at 74.  Surratt grabbed second and Rausch third on the card playoff, Purkey still received fourth place money for his nice round.

A Flight:

Gary Bell really got his putter going and posted his best competitive round ever on tour a one over par 72.  After the scores were all posted and new tour indexes came out Bell was moved to Championship flight which he gladly accepted the tour promotion.  Bill Beal coming back from off season surgery thought just to shoot 85 would be great, but he far exceeded his goal and grabbed second place with 79.  A group of four players tied at 80 but it was Paul Gargano getting third and Len McAlister fourth on the card playoff.

B Flight:

Ron LaMorte won for the first time this season but only by one shot.  LaMorte fired a smooth 78 to beat out Conway Powell and John Beckman by one.  Powell beat out Beckman on the card for second with both players posting 79’s.  Ron Ballew rounded out the top four spots with 81.

C Flight:

Sindo Mayor and John Crofts stood tied after 18 holes with both players shooting 86.  Mayor however grabbed his first victory of the season on the playoff.  Dennis McConaughay fired a 90 for third place beating out Don Elsass on the card who got 4th place money.
