The October schedule now starts and the next 2 weeks see us at Cabarrus CC (Oct 5^th) and Northstone CC (Oct 12^th) these are two of our favorite stops so I feel they will fill ups fast.  Below is the Cabarrus list which already has over 60 players entered.

Practice rounds are $30 at Cabarrus and $35 at Northstone.  Only weekday play is allowed.

Championship Flight:

Ted Cox & John Walters battled all day as both players shoot 3 over par 75’s.  Cox Grabbed first place money on the card leaving Walters in second place.  Tom Carbone and Gary Schatz also ended up tied with 77’s but it was Carbone beating out Schatz for 3^rd place money.  Ted Cox played with Schatz and said he played great all day and should have won if not for 2 bad swings.

A Flight:

Jeff Hughes won for the second time this season posting on of his best tournament scores a five over par 77.  A trio of players came it at 80, with James Brannen grabbing second, Steve Romito third and Billy Poteat fourth.

B Flight:

Bobby Poteat also finished in first place for the second time this season as he won by only one shot with 80.  Ron LaMorte who continues to cash finished in second place at 81.  Joe Lee said he had his best round of the season and finished in third place with 82.  A Pair of 84’s battled for fourth place which Triads Jim Taylor beat out Bob Frass.

C Flight:

Jim Wittersheim’ kept up the second win of the year awards as he won by only one shot with 87.  Bill LoVine and Larry Hinson were right on his back with 88’s which LoVine won second place money on the card.  Matt Papes cashed in fourth place again with a fine score of 90.
