Not a "Drop of Rain All Day"! At check in time it sure looked like it was going to be a "Mudder Day" but as all the players hit the course the skys lightened and the day was Dry! Championship Flight: Scores were tight as always in each flight and we even had 2 first time winner ever on tour. Mark Drye posted a 72 that could have easily been 69 en route to his first ever victory on tour. Three other players all fired 75's with Jeef Rausch in second, Jerry Sennett third and John Walters forth via the scorecard playoff. A Flight: Terry Lewis defeated Mike Maciejewski by two shots Monday with Bob Rudolph from the Raleigh tour and Jim Gregory only a few shots back. B Flight: Terry McClure also tasted victory for the first time firing and 80 that beat out three other players by only one shot. At 81 were Graham Pitt, Jack Sommer & Marshall Wolfe from the Triad Tour. C Flight: Bill Lovine won for the second week in a row with a stellar round of 85. As the tour rules state once a player drops below the handicap level set in place they are automatically moved to the next flight for the rest of the season. Congrats to Bill on his improved play and his promotion to "B" Flight, you will do great. Only 3 other players broke 90 in C flight with Dwight Miller in second, Bill Chaplin third and Hal Miller fourth.
