Championship Flight:

Jeff Rausch birdied the 18th hole on Monday for the victory.  Rausch coming back for the first time in 3 months after knee surgery fired an even par 72 for the win.  Ted Cox had a chance to tie on 18 but finished one shot at 73.  Richard Matheny, Mark Wagner and John Walters all shot 74’s but it was Matheny grabbing third and Wagner 4th place monies on the card playoff.  Thanks again to Ted Cox, Jeff Rausch & John Walters in helping make Providence a yearly tour stop.

A Flight:

David Poteat shot his best score ever on tour and even par 72 for the victory.  With the next SAGT indexes calculated Poteat now moves to the Championship flight with a 2.1 index.  His 72 would have tied Rausch in Champ Flight for first place yesterday so David is ready for the challenge.  Another "A flighter" moving up is Tom Carbone who fired a fine 75 yesterday and grabbed second place over Robert Smith on the card playoff.  Larry Cowman rounded out the top 4 spots with 76.  Like Poteat Carbone is excited for the move up and feels his game can now compete with the Champ Flight players.

B Flight:

Sam Carpenter and Darrell Wilson teid for first place on Monday with 79’s but after several hole card playoff Carpenter won out for first place money.  Wilson had been struggling of late so congrats to a great performance and getting you game back into shape.  Four players tied in third place with 80’s but it was Bill Shenoha in third followed by Louie Hinson in 4th on the card.  Bob Frass & Ron LaMorte also shot 80 in the very competitive B Flight.

C Flight:

Mike Bouchon won for the very first time all season as he shot 85 on Monday to do so.  John Crofts finished in second place 2 shots back with 87.  Three players all in the same group fired 88’s but it was Phil Schroeder grabbing third and Larry Hinson 4th place while Sindo Mayor got fifth.
