Championship Flight:

For the first time that I can remember we had a four way playoff for first place yesterday at River Run CC.  75 was the popular number as Richard Matheny won out on the card for his second ever tour victory.  Bill Hall was second followed by Bill Phillips & Rock Pickard.

A Flight:

Len McAlister won for the second time in a row but had to do so in another playoff.  Len along with the Raleigh tours Cecil Lockley both fired smooth 76’s and Lockley got second place money on the card.  Another log jam was ties for third place as Tom Carbone, Jeff Hughes and Jim Buchanan all shot 77.  Tom Carbone grabbed third and Jeff Hughes fourth on the card playoff.

B Flight:

Bill Shenoha won by four shots Wednesday by posting his first victory of the season with 76.  Jim Taylor from the Triad tour grabbed second with 80 and Terry McClure bested Mike Egan for third place.  Both players shot 82’ and Egan lost on the card but did and 2 closest to the pins to his winnings.

C Flight:

Mac Geddie also won for the first time in 2011 as he posted his best ever score on tour a 79.  Three shots back of Geddie was Don Elsass who grabbed second place with 82.  Sindo Mayor continues to improve and finished in third at 83.  Dick Hood and Tony Schiffer both stood tied with 84’s but it was Hood winning on the card to get fourth place money.
