The next stop on tour is this Wednesday at Firethorne CC, a favorite on tour.  Below is the list of current players signed up if you still wish to enter please email me back (Yes or No) and I’ll get you entered.

Championship Flight:

Chuck Wunsch won for the first time in the 2011 season with an even par round of 72.  After making the turn Wunsch found himself one shot back to Brad Kroll.  After 15 holes the 2 were dead even; Wunsch then finished strong with a birdie, par, and birdie finish to beat Kroll by 2 shots. Kroll’s 74 was good enough for second place money while Neal Gaston and John Walters rounded out the top four with 76’s.  Gaston beat out Walter’s on the card for third place.

A Flight:

Jeff Shartzer won for the second time in the last month and did so in stellar fashion.  Shartzer fired his career best round on tour a 72; and received a battlefield promotion to Championship Flight which he graciously accepted.  Alan Skelton also had a nice round a four over par 76 good enough for second place.  Bill Greiner and David Poteat were the only other A Flight player’s to break 80 as Greiner grabbed third place with 78 and Poteat 4^th with 79.

B Flight:

Marty James "lit-it-up" Wednesday and was immediately promoted to A flight for the rest of the 2011 campaign.  James fired an even par round of 72 to blow away the B Flight.  Bobby Poteat did grab second place with a nice 81 on Wednesday followed by Sam Carpenter and Tom Minor both with 82’s.

C Flight:

Dick Hood dressed for the cool windy conditions wearing his beloved Chicago Bears attire.  The Bears might be his new tour uniform as he won his first event ever on tour by 2 shots.  Hood posted a nice 84 and was followed by Phil Schroeder who finished in second with 86.  Sindo Mayor had his ups and downs yesterday but did manager a third place finish at 87.  The C Flight point’s leader Don Elsass was the only other C Flighter to break 90 as he shot 89 for 4^th place money.
