Welcome all old and new members to the 2011 Senior Amateur Tour weekly newsletter: If your new to the tour a couple of quick notes as to responding to this email: 1. Always respond (Yes or No) along with your name to get entered into each tournament. If you can't play let me know that also in case the tourney has a waiting list. 2. Practice rounds you are on your own to call the course and book a tee time. 3. Tee boxes are always in this newsletter and play the appropriate yardages/tees based on your flight. 4. Weather: Updates will be given if we cancel but 90% of the time we play. Don't wait for the 10 day forecast, just commit and then if weather is an issue don't worry we will reschedule for a later date. 5. Money paid for a tournament is always moved forward if we cancel. 6. Range finders are allowed at every event. 7. You receive your welcome bag at your first event you play in. 8. Range balls are provided at every event and range usually opens 1 hour before we start. (All 10am shotgun starts) 9. Your playing partners will always be players from your same flight. 10. Prizes for the top 4 in each flight and also 4 closest to the pin prizes. Awards are all done and given out at the course (Edwin Watts gift cards) . 11. We all play ready golf and I marshal every event and let groups know if they are out of position. I'll stay on any group that is behind until they are caught up. 12. Optional skins game for $5ea. Champ & A flight is one pot and B & C flight is one pot. The tours first stop on the 2011 season will take us to Cedarwood CC Monday February 21st 10am shotgun. Please email me back (Yes or No) on playing in this event along with your name. Practice rounds will be $35 for Monday-Thursday only starting today. Just call the pro shop and let the know your with the Senior Amateur Tour and your playing in the event on Feb 21st.
