The Charlotte season concluded its 2019 regular season with a second event at Pine Island CC.  As usual, the course was in great shape and the weather was a little cooler for a change.

In the Championship Flight, our 2019 Champ Flight Champion completed the season in style with another victory.  Brian Swenson and Bruce Gantt both shot 1 under par rounds of 70, but it was Brian winning on the scorecard playoff. Third place goes to Scott Patnode with a round of 72 (+1), Fourth goes to Tim Smith who shot 73 (+2) and rounding out the top 5 was Rob Fulford who beat out Anthony White on the scorecard playoff, both players shooting 76 (+5).

In the A Flight, Bob Olsen returns to the winner circle for the first time in a few years.  Bob has been battling some health issues, but some new medication has helped him and he came through today with flying colors.  Bob's round of 73 (+2) was good enough for a 2 shot vicotry of a trio of golfers.  Shooting 75 (+4) was  Billy Cauthen, Tim Woodward and Scott Ide.  Based on the scorecard playoff, Billy takes 2nd, Tim takes 3rd and Scott settle for 4th.  Scott Also claims the overall flight championship trophy with the points colelcted on this day.  5th place goes to Jerry Evan beating out 2 golfers for the final paying position.

In the B Flight, Toby Tyler claims victory with a round of 79 (+8) beating out Tom Corrado on the scorecard playoff.   3rd place had to be settled by the scorecard playoff as well as we had 3 golfers tie with scores of 80 (+9).  In the end, Sam Carpenter takes 3rd, James Taylor takes 4th and Bob Deaton settles for 5th.

In the C Flight, Doug Raby claims victory with a score of 81 (+10), Andre Banks takes home second with a score of 82 (+11).  3rd place goes to Dan Keddie with a score of 83 (+12) and then we go to the scorecards to settle 4th and 5th as we had 2 golfers tie at 84 (+13).  Sindo Mayor takes 4th and Michael Peltz claims 5th.
