Well, mother nature sure played a wicked April Fool’s day joke on us with the temps dropping back into the 40's and 50's for the afternoon. The good thing was the sun was shining and the course was dry enough that we did not have to stay on the path.
In the Championship Flight, Mark Hodges wins for the 3rd time on the season. Mark's score of 74 was 4 better than Bruce Gantt and Brian Swenson, both shot 78. Bruce wins the scorecard playoff for 2nd. 4th and 5th had to be settled by the scorecard playoff as well as 3 golfers tied at 81. In the end, Rob Fulford takes 4th, Scott Patnode, 5th and Bill Phillips unfortunately finishes 6th.
Int he A Flight, Dave Junkins wins by 3 by shooting 79 on the day. Johnny Moffet takes second by shooting 82. Tim Woodward finishes in 3rd with a score of 84. Bill Beal takes 4th shooting 85. And Phil Seaman takes 5th after beating Tom Carbone and Steve Sovde on the scorecard playoff/ All these players shot 86.
In the B Flight, Tom Corrado takes home the victory shooting 84 on the day. Rob Geilhausen takes second shooting 86. Michael Del Priore takes 4rd after beating Curtis Rosselle in a scorecard playoff after both players show 88 on the day. 5th went to Blair Hall (89) after beating 3 others in a scorecard playoff.
In the C Flight, Jimmy Sullivan claims a 4-shot victory with a score of 85. Larry Hinson takes second with a score of 89. Jim Garrison takes 3rd with a score of 92. 4th and 5th had to be settled by the scorecard playoff as 3 golfers tied at 93. In the end it was Pat Dolan taking 4th, Russell McDonald taking 5th and Kevin Lepage just missing out.
