Mark Hodges, Gary Bell, Bill Reading and Bill Sturgeon all win at Pine Island

Champ Flight:

Mark Hodges took care of his home field advantage firing a smooth 68 on the field on Wednesday.  The Next three names all chased Hodges on the front side but in the end Jeff Brischke was second at 72 and Bill Phillips beat out Mike Gentry for third place money.  Both players posted rounds of 73.

A Flight:

Gary Bell wins for the second time in a row with a blistering round of 72.  Tom Carbone continues to play well and finished in solo second at 74.  Nate Clements was third at 76 and Scott Ide rounded out the top four at 77.

B Flight:

Bill reading captures his first victory of the season firing a smooth 79 to win by only one shot.  Ron $20 LaMorte and Bob Boettner both tied one back at 80 with LaMorte winning on the card. Four players tied at 81 but it was again local knowledge from Bill Greiner that paid off for the forth place spot on the card.  Paul Callaway, Stan Wetmore and John Morris were he other 81’s posted.

C Flight:

Bill Sturgeon fired his best round ever after many years on tour as he blister Pine Island with 77.  Mark Denton was second at 82 followed by Guy Woodlief and Joe Lee with 83’s.  Woodlief took home third place money on the card playoff.
