Champ Flight:
Jerry Sennett battled all day with Brad Kroll turning the
front nine one shot behind at 36.
Sennett’s back nine consisted of nine straight pars and finished two
shots ahead of Kroll with and even par round of 72. Kroll finished in solo second with 74 followed
by Bill Phillips at 75 and John Walters with 76.
A Flight:
Three players tied with 76 but it was Bill Lee beating out
Tim Romeo and Chris Murray on the card for his first victory ever on the
Charlotte Tour. Jeff Thompson the A
Flight points leader continues to cash this time in fourth place with 77.
B Flight:
Sam Carpenter had his round of the year and first win in a
long time on tour with a blistering round of 75 on Wednesday. Newcomer Mike Ringuette finished in solo second with 77 and Ron LaMorte and Herbert White finished tied
with 78’s but it was LaMorte getting third on the card playoff.
C Flight:
Sindo Mayor, Jim Hestikind and newcomer Dave McManaway both
tied at 82 with Mayor gaining the victory on the playoff. McManaway grabbed second and Hestikind cashed
third place money. Darrell Wilson also
played well on Wednesday as he finished in solo 4th with 84.
