Jerry Cunningham, Donnie Pritt, Johnny Adams, Steve High, and Donnie Pierce all won The Senior Masters Regional at Cutter Creek GC.
The 2026 Senior Amateur Tour Regional Schedule continued at Cutter Creek GC on April 14-15, with its third tournament of the Tour-wide Senior Regional Series, The Senior Masters Regional. Members representing 12 local tours from across the country traveled to Snow Hill, NC to play Cutter Creek Golf Club. Competition among the sell-out field of 116 participants did not disappoint and each of the five flight winners earned an Invitation to the 2026 Senior National Championship this October!
In the Championship Flight, Jerry Cunningham (Eastern NC) consistent play earned him a title shooting 71-72 (143). Randy Townsend (Eastern NC) shot 75-71 (146) to take the 2nd place spot and Dean Parziale (Central Carolina), took home third place with a total of 147 and finishing out above the payline Kevin Wooten (Eastern NC)75-74 (149).
In the A Flight, after two days of good competition in hot conditions, Donnie Pritt (Eastern NC) shot 78-71 (149) to claim the victory. Kelly Radford (Eastern NC) shot 78-74 (152) claimed second position. John Caulfield (Eastern NC) secured third place with 80-77 (157), winning a scorecard playoff against Johnny Taylor (Eastern NC), who finished fourth with 77-80 (157). Allen Wilson (Eastern NC) claimed fifth with 79-80 (159), earning the last payout spot.
In the B Flight, veteran player Johnny Adams (Eastern NC) stepped up and shot a two-day total (157) to claim the title of Flight Champion. Shawn Cacioppo (Central Carolina) 78-80 (158) was the closest pursuer taking second. Ron Scott (Eastern NC) and Gil Ro (Central Carolina) both shot 160, with Scott winning in the scorecard playoff over Ro. In the fifth payout position Andy lane (Eastern NC) 80-81 (161).
In the C Flight, Steve High (Eastern NC) secured the victory by five strokes with a two-day score of 86-79 (165). Mike Groom (Central Carolina) 80-90 (170) claimed solo second. Scott Brunt a former Eastern NC player now (North Florida) claimed the third position with 88-83 (171) edging out Dan Henris (Eastern NC)in a scorecard playoff. Rounding out the flight in the fifth position was Corey McGee (Eastern NC) 88-84 (172).
In the D Flight, Donnie Pierce (Eastern NC) claimed victory with a huge lead to his nearest competitor shooting a consistent 85-85 (170). Fred Gilbert (Virginia) 91-89 (180) gave him second solo. Gerard Bryant (Eastern NC) 90-92 (182) was good for the third position. James Eatmon (Mississippi) held on by a stroke to claim the fourth position. Rounding out the flight, in the fifth position Jamie Hill (Eastern NC) 91-93 (184).
