Mineral Mounds Flight Winners 6.7.2025

 
6/7/2025 Mother Nature was on our side Saturday and held off with the rain.  Playing on a soggy course made some tough conditions; however we did have some nice scores.  Congratulations to all flight winners.
Larry Harmon-81 won the Champ flight, and Kevin Payne-76 won the A flight.  The B flight was a battle all day with David Williams-78 coming out with the win, Rick Napper-80 made a late charge, but came up one stroke back for a tie for 2nd, with Bryan Packer-80.  Bob Fleeger-92 continued his streak in the C flight for the win over Joe Schuelke-94.

Player of the Year Contest
 
 
***We will continue the Player of the Year Calculation from last year.***
 
In 2023, we changed the way that Player of the Year was calculated. We will continue this method in 2025.
 
We will be rewarding additional points based on how many players you beat in your flight.  This is meant to reward strength of field. It will be kept on a separate spreadsheet and made public on the site after every tournament.
 
In addition to the points you are automatically awarded for your placement in the tournament, you will receive an additional points for every player that you beat (you are not awarded any additional points for players that you tied in the tournament).
 
These additional points are not awarded for Regionals or make-ups.
 
This impacts Player of the Year only, and will not affect flight points/standings, or who qualifies for Nationals.
                                       
 Year End Flight winners
 
Winners of each flight based on actual points won during the year will receive a $50 Gift Card in additional to a Flight winner Trophy. There must be at least 3 players in flight.
