THE SENIOR TOUR DUKE EVENT IS CANCELLED!
Posted: 2/24/2010 10:29:39 AM
THE SENIOR TOUR DUKE EVENT IS CANCELLED Due to a terrible weather report, we have decided to cancel the Duke University GC event planned for tomorrow, February 25. Snow is forecast, but even if the snow doesn't arrive or "stick", the forecasted high temperature is around 41 degrees with strong winds expected, resulting in a wind-chill factor in the 20s. This tour is supposed to be fun, and playing under those conditions wouldn't qualify as such. We also need to keep the health factor in mind. I am working on re-scheduling the event for a later date - you will receive information on that as soon as I can get a final answer from Duke. Thanks for your understanding on this.
