RESCHEDULING (AGAIN) OF PRE-SEASON OPENER TO SEVEN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB

Seniors vs the Flat Bellies on January 30th!
RESCHEDULING (AGAIN) OF PRE-SEASON OPENER TO SEVEN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB In the previous 11 years, we have had occasion to reschedule our season-opening event at The Legacy Golf Links only once due to inclement weather. Unfortunately we're setting a record this year with another "snow-out" for the second week in a row, as the advance weather forecast is once again worse than bleak. This will force us to not only postpone the event another week, but due to advanced tee-times booked by The Legacy for the following Saturday, to switch to another course entirely for that date. While it is always disappointing to lose a venue as great as The Legacy, we were extremely fortunate to have an excellent option open for us when Seven Lakes Country Club, also in the Pinehurst area, agreed to host our tournament the following Saturday, February 13. While this event (like all others) will be a shotgun start, please make note of the new start time: 10:00am. Despite the added costs that this move will result in, we will still maintain the original event entry fee of $65.00. Once again, if you were on the original roster for this event or were added for this week's postponed event, you will remain there unless you advise me differently and I will expect to see you on the 13th at Seven Lakes. If for whatever reason, you can't make the rescheduled Seven Lakes tournament, please let me know as soon as possible. For those of you who are not currently on the roster but are interested in playing at Seven Lakes, please contact me (Tour Director Bruce Hallenbeck) at 336-495-6556 or by email at behgolf@aol.com. When a postponement of this nature occurs, it will open up spots that had been filled with the original sell-out of this event. Sorry for any inconvenience posed by this rescheduling, but, as I stated last week, this Tour is supposed to be fun. The advance weather forecast kinda rules out fun for everyone but polar bears and penguins. Let's hope we've used up all our bad luck on the weather for the year!!
