Our 4th official event comes to us from the spectacular layout at Four Bridges CC, in Mason, OH.
Unlike the nice weather at Troy CC, mother nature lowered the boom on us today. Cold temps, rain and strong winds made for a difficult day of golf. Players should be commended for braving the elements, making the event a success.
First up is the A flight, which saw John Harvey capture the solo victory, shooting an 86. Did you scare everyone away or was it the weather? Good Job, John!
The B flight went to a sudden death playoff with Donald Ratliff topping David Lutey to capture the win after both shot rounds of 86. Congratulations, Donald!
Different flight, same result as the C flight saw Brian Ward and Paul Rovnak end regulation tied with rounds of 87. They headed out to the treacherous 18th hole with water all the way down the left side for their sudden death playoff. Ward was able to capture the victory, playing it safe down the right while Rovnaks tee ball caught the bank and went to its watery grave. Jose Taule was 3rd with an 88. Jeremy Richardson took 4th after a scorecard playoff with Todd Courtney.
Last up is the D flight. Jerry Flick captured the win, firing a round of 93, holding off two visitors in the process. The Columbus Tours Roberto Benavides and the Kentucky Tours Joe Hollis both tied at 95 with Benavides taking 2nd after a scorecard playoff. Brad Bailey of the Columbus Tour was 4th.
As always we want to thank all of you for coming out and supporting YOUR tour. We also want to thank the staff at Four Bridges CC for all their help in making the event a success.
We will see you all at Elks Run GC in Batavia, OH on May 7th, 2023.
