Barnsley Resort 2022 Recap

The Atlanta Senior Tour kicked off the season in north Georgia at the beautiful Barnsley Resort. Players across the leaderboard found success, resulting in close final scores across the five flights. 


Bryan Reynolds captured the win in the Championship Flight with an 83. He made 10 pars on the round. 


The winner of the A Flight was Kelly Raglin, of the Nashville Tour. Raglin had one birdie and six pars. Greg Wright edged Troy Slate 91-92 for second while Jim Penman shot a 94, good for fourth. 


A strong back nine was the difference between first and second place for Jeff Graunke. The North Central Florida member was tied with Atlanta’s Terry Dunn, 43-43, after nine holes. Graunkee took the one-stroke lead on the 10th and grew that advantage to five, when the round concluded. Graunke carded an 81 while Dunn had a score of 86, just one stroke better than Al Sheppard, who placed third. Bob Santee took fourth (88) while Bill Watkins rounded out the top-5 with a 91. 


Glenn Snider earned the C Flight victory with a 99. Steven Roembke placed second with a score of 101.


Donald Price captured the D Flight win with a card of 97. Arthur Parcher shot a 102, good for second, while two players tied for third (104): Dennis Dreelin and Michael Gholston
